Pedro and myself are working full-time on our mission to tackle loneliness, to get people to talk to each other, to recreate bridges between human beings, two at a time, to generate -at the very least- smiles and laughs, during these increasingly troubled times.

OpenBubble is the natural offspring of that mission.

OpenBubble is a mean, a tool, a service, a platform, whatever label you want to put on it.

It’s not an end.

OpenBubble is a way to kindness, to a world less absurd, to places where strangers have nice conversations, and maybe, just maybe, start to ride a common path together, whether to friendship, art, love, work, gardening, creation, or anything and everything in between.

OpenBubble will not have fulfilled its mission until you’re participating in it whenever you feel like it, offering whatever you have to offer and receiving whatever you have to receive.

We’re looking to serve, and we’re looking for help.

So how can you participate?

Participate as a User

OpenBubble is free for its users and no one is the product (we’re very strict on all privacy matters).

There is no Supply Side nor Demand Side.

We create encounters between two persons who arrive as peers, meet as humans, and enjoy their time together as kids. We have a 97% success rate.

To be part of that movement of shared kindness, log in on our Webapp, or through Messenger, or with your Teams account, make yourself available and appreciate the simple joy of meeting somebody new, with no agenda, no expectation and yet exceed any that you could have had.

We are available worldwide, and I guess those guys up in space know each other already. So you’re basically covered wherever you are.

We believe in complete freedom. With OpenBubble you participate in this wave of kindness exactly on your own terms: there’s no obligation of any kind, you can use it whenever you want, wherever you are, no more, no less.

Participate as a Partner

Pedro and myself cover a fair ground of what’s needed to grow a successful company.

We’re both Gen-X (i.e. experienced, yet still fun to work with), and we’re good with Sales, Product, Tech, Finance, Admin, Legal.

We’re missing Marketing and Communication.

We’re looking for a superstar in Marketing and Advertising to join us as a Partner, and take the reins of our Communication strategy and execution.

We’re still bootstrapping, so don’t join us for the money just yet.

Actually, being passionate for our mission is required from anyone joining us. Everything else is negotiable.

Participate as an Investor

We have great ambitions, and plenty of fun ideas to achieve those, and that costs money.

We’ve made it this far, and we’re really proud of it. We’ve invested about 150,000 euros of our own money and a total of 5 years to get here.

We’re ready to accelerate and flood the world with joy and smiles, but we can’t do it without strong financial support.

We are a French ESS company, with the ESUS label. That means that our mission is engraved in our incorporation statuses. To be clear, we are a for-profit company, where most of the profits go to expand the company and fulfill it’s mission, in total fairness of all parties involved.

Participate as a Promoter

1. In your company

Loneliness, although hard to detect, has a very high cost in the Corporate World. We’ve worked hard with Microsoft on our integration within Microsoft Teams, and developed unique features using the Microsoft Graph to make using OpenBubble in companies as natural as using any other corporate application.

Start using OpenBubble on Teams today with just one click on this link, to meet random people within your Organisation or in the great big World. As I previously stated OpenBubble is very strict on privacy, meaning nobody knows you’re on OpenBubble if you don’t want to, and nobody knows who you’re meeting. People will only witness that you’ll smile more, you’ll be a better partner, a better colleague, a happier person.

2. At your favorite joint

Introduce OpenBubble to the person who runs your favorite bar, coffee house or any public place, have him/her promote OpenBubble to the customers, and watch kindness grow around you. Happier customers means better business all over, and better experience for everyone.

Any user can add public places to OpenBubble very easily. And if the public place you want to add isn’t preregistered, just drop us an email at contact@openbubble.net with its name and address, we’ll add it for you and we’ll let you know when it’s done.

3. In your community

44% of the overall population in the Western World, and in big cities everywhere, suffer from feeling lonely. Yes you read well, forty-four percent. We know, that’s huge, that’s almost every other person. That’s the size of our mission. Told you it’s ambitious…

OpenBubble is a very easy and accessible way for breaking that vicious circle. Anyone can participate, every meeting counts.

Talk to your mayor, to your minister, to your church, to your sports captain, to any leader of any organisation that you are part of and that really cares for the people.

As a promoter you don’t have to use OpenBubble any more than anybody else. Actually, you don’t have any obligation of any kind. Just spread the word, and use OpenBubble whenever you want (and only then) like any other user.

After all, this is exactly what we do :)
